An impressive 16”x22’ hand peeled tree post provides the main support for the loft and roof, bringing much character to the home. Note the R-19 fiberglass insulation in the upper left hand corner of the photo. This shows a corner of a dormer, where standard stick-built construction was used to lighten the load of the dormer on the home’s roof. The dormers are therefore, insulated and then sided with the client’s choice of materials and profiles. |
